Nasir was my student in multiple courses and labs, including electronics and pattern recognition. In the pattern recognition course, their group worked on a implementation of deep learning techniques to detect emotions in Bangla music. Nasir worked really hard on the problem, and led his group in proposing a novel solution. Even though this was only an undergraduate lab project, they dedicated themselves to the problem, and at the end, got their work accepted at a peer reviewed international conference. They produced a very elegant technical solution.
